Project Admin

Summary

Software Development is hard and is made even harder by the 1000 of little details that all need to be kept track of to ensure the stake holders visions can be translated to features that will delight end users. It is the project admins role to make sure all those details are properly tracked and don’t become state.

Job Location/Meetings

This is a remote position, with the only requirements being a stable internet connection and the ability to attend online meetings during business hours. Generally the Project Admin will attend daily meetings where all active tasks across all projects are reviewed.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain the status of active tasks on NuvIot website so they are up-to-date and accurate

  2. Checking the health of the task, due date, who is assigned the task

  3. Lead meetings and prompt attendees to give status updates to their active tasks

  4. Review issues as well as any risks that might hinder the success of the task

  5. Ensure that any planned tasks have a project lead

  6. Ensure that any in-progress tasks hae a project lead, primary contributor and QA specialist

  7. Ensure that any planned tasks that have expected outcomes

  8. Spot checking of planned and active tasks to ensure they are following our defined process

  9. Act as point of contact between Software Logistics and clients,

    • All communications from our clients to Software Logistics should include the project admin.

    • Significant communications should be added to the associated task within NuvIoT.

    • Accept any request for quotes and make sure Software Logistics responds back in a timely manner.

    • If our clients use their own ticketing system, make sure any tasks assigned to Software Logistics are also entered in our system along with a link and reference number. Ensure status updates, entered time (if applicable) and QA/testing documents are uploaded into their system.

    • Send weekly reports to Software Logistics clients that include active tasks, tasks completed, issues and hours used.
