Summary
Our clients expect the software we deliver whether that be for our product or custom solutions to meet their expectations. As a QA Specialist your job will be to develop and execute test plans from our expected outcomes.
Job Location/Meetings
This is a remote position, with the only requirements being a stable internet connection and the ability to attend online meetings during business hours. Software Logistics has two scheduled team meetings and depending on the project may have additional regulararlly scheduled meetings.
Responsibilities
Within the Planning Phase of the task, work with the Task Lead and Business Analyst to understand the software component being built, the goal here should be to scope out the effort and identify the strategy
During the In Process phase the test plan is fully developed as more knowledge about the feature is uncovered and the feature is being developed. Theoretically development on the test plan should progress at the same rate as the feature where both are completed around the same time.
After the feature is completed, the test plan is executed, your QA artifacts are uploaded to the ticket and results are communicated to the developer to resolve any issues.
Once all the issues are resolved a report is sent over to the client that includes results of the test plan and the required QA artifacts.
