Frequently Asked Questions
Q: This seems like a lot of work and administrative tasks, don’t we just need to get our project work done?
That make be the case and we want to be very careful about wasting time, however, most of the things we have identified as part of our process will need to get done one way or another. What we are trying to do is make sure we recognize this and try to make these sort of things as efficient as possible. Also, realizing it is a team effort, documenting/identifying items as part of our process allows other team members to understand what needs to be done so the task can be successful.
Q: What is the difference between a ToDo and a Sub Task?
They are similar, both are things that that need to be done. There are two differences, generally to-dos are smaller and can stand alone where sub tasks need to be associated with a larger task that is to be completed. Also, Sub Tasks are generally planned far in advance as part of creating the task. A ToDo may be a spur of the moment thing, like Schedule a Phone Call with a client.
