Bio

Mr. Cuomo received his B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Florida, with a certificate in Computer Science. His technology background developed out of happenstance, with one of his first jobs as a researcher for a company developing pharmacy software. The jump from research to software testing happened quickly, and then became full-time software development before completing his degree and heading off to NYC to join Microsoft.

After arriving in a new locale, Cuomo started working with enterprise customers on ecommerce and integration solutions. Over time, he focused on solutions targeted to information workers, shifted his target audience from customers to partners, changed from colder back to warmer climates, and moved from technology into business development and sales roles. He now leads a team of various solution and technology specialists focused on providing Microsoft solutions to a global customer within the Manufacturing vertical.

In his free time, Cuomo enjoys learning new things, reading just about anything, spending time with his wife and family (while his kids are still young enough to think he’s OK to be seen with in public), and exploring new areas around the US. His most recent technology interests are focused on cryptocurrencies and IoT. The rest of the time he’s an active participant and leader in a handful of non-profit organizations within his local community.
